The West Orange Library Foundation Fund (WOLFF) is holding an online auction in conjunction with Boomerang Online Auction Services to raise funds to supplement and enhance the Library's award-winning programming. The event will take place on Monday June 27th at the library from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. What better gift than the gift of reading!

This exciting new fundraising idea does not require you to buy or sell anything. All we ask is that you donate unwanted or no longer used items to be auctioned online. Items should have a minimum value of $50 and be in good condition. If you're not sure of the value of your item, simply bring the item to be donated to the event and one of boomerang's online auction services expert's will determine if it is worth at least $50.
Attached is a list of items that sell best on eBay to help guide you in your search.
- Follow these easy steps to help make our event a success:

- Take a moment to complete the description form before you drop off your item. This will make the drop-off process run quickly and smoothly.
- Please provide as much information as possible. The more information you provide, the better chance the item will sell at a good price.
- If you need additional description forms, contact Wanda Anderton at 973-820-5693.
- Place your item along with the description form in a bag (Ziploc or brown bag is fine), a box or other container that will hold the item. If the item does not fit in a container, simply attach the description form securely to the item.
- Collection date is June 27 between 5:30 and 8, at the Library's annual summer kickoff. Or you can deliver your item to the Library in advance of the kickoff on June 25 between 9-1 and June 26 between 1-5. And you can even arrange for pickup service by contacting Wanda Anderton at 973-820-5693. Please note that items donated prior to June 27 will appear online only if Boomerang determines that their value exceeds $50.
- The individual donating an item that generates the highest accepted bid on ebay will be offered a choice of a one-hundred dollar ($100) gift certificate from Simon Mall, Best Buy, or Barnes & Nobles. WOLFF will notify the winner by telephone after completion of the auction. If the winner fails to respond within two weeks after telephone notification, the individual donating the item that generates the next highest bid will then be declared the winner. WOLFF will mail the selected gift certificate to the winner within ten business days following the winner's designation of gift certificate choice. In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by separate drawing.
This is a great opportunity for you to clean out your closets, attics and basements while at the same time helping a good cause.
